Basic Fire Safety Awareness / Fire Marshall Training

This course has been specifically designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of fire safety awareness and basic fire training and is therefore suitable for all staff, and particularly those who are designated with the role of fire marshall.

Learning Objectives

Successful completion of the course will enable candidates to understand:

• Fire Safety Legislation
• The Chemistry of Fire
• Basic Fire Prevention
• Fire Procedures
• Action on discovering and fire and evacuation procedures (site specific)
• The safe use and suitability of fire extinguishers

The training time to cover the syllabus must be at least three hours and is typically covered in half a day. Course certificates are provided for all delegates.
